Manchester City Return to Top of Table

Erling Haaland broke the Premier League single-season scoring record as Manchester City moved back to the top of the table with a 3-0 win over West Ham United.

The Norwegian striker scored his 27th goal of the campaign in all competitions, surpassing the previous record of 26 held by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer.

Haaland's goal came in the 36th minute, when he converted a penalty after being brought down by West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

Manchester City extended their lead in the second half, with goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho.

The win takes Manchester City back to the top of the Premier League table, one point ahead of Arsenal.
